All children who will be 5 years old by Aug. 31, 2008 can register to enter fall 2008 kindergarten in the Sedro-Woolley School District.
Parents are encouraged to take advantage of early registration from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. April 14 to 18 and April 21 to 25.
All registrations will be handled at neighborhood schools. (Registration packets for parents and guardians to fill out ahead of time and bring back with them during the registration window will be available at their neighborhood school by April 7.)
In addition to the daytime registration opportunities, there will also be one evening on April 24 to register at the school district office, 801 Trail Road, between 5:30 and 8 p.m. An interpreter will be available.
Parents should bring their childβs birth certificate and immunization records to complete the registration process.
During registration, parents will receive information about kindergarten orientation in the fall; an appointment for fall kindergarten screening; information about Kinderstart, the first week of school in the fall; a gift box filled with school supplies for their kindergarten student; and a packet to help prepare their child for kindergarten.
