Anacortes finished fourth in the Northwest Conference season-ending meet at Lake Padden on May 5, matching its placement in conference standings.
Senior Crystal McDaniels, named to the 2008 All-NWC team, led the Seahawks with 53 Stableford points. Rapidly improving Bre Hendricks posted the ‘Hawks’ second-highest score with a 42.
Team scores: Sehome 269, Bellingham 260, Burlington-Edison 249, Anacortes 209, Squalcum 177, Mount Baker 158, Sedro-Woolley 145.

In the Skagit County meet on May 7, Anacortes placed second just seven points behind pacesetter Burlington-Edison. Again, McDaniels led Anacortes with 23 Stableford points. Kandace Londo garnered 19.

The girls will compete in the District 1 Tournament on May 12-13 at Snohomish. Play begins at 12:30.
